Vegetable Balls Recipe is made with potatoes, sweet potato, paneer (cottage cheese), sweet corn, onion, bread and spices.

Vegetable Balls Recipe


100g paneer (cottage cheese)
1 large boiled potato, mashed (or 2 small potatoes)
1 large grated carrot
1 small boiled sweet potato, mashed
½ cup sweet corn kernels, roughly crushed
1 medium finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic mince
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 finely chopped green chillies
2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
3-4 bread slices
2 tablespoon roughly crushed roasted peanuts
Salt to taste

Cooking Method:

1. Grate or mash the paneer (cottage cheese) and keep aside

2. Take the mashed sweet potato, grated carrot, roughly crushed sweet corn, the mashed potato, chopped onions, grated ginger, garlic mince, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander, chilli powder, garam masala powder, chat masala powder, roughly crushed roasted peanut and salt in a large mixing bowl.

3. Add the mashed paneer and tomato ketchup.

4. Cut the crust (edges) of the bread and dip in the water. Squeeze the water out gently (not too hard, just the excess water). Squeeze the breads to mash them and add to the mixture.

5. Now knead well to make dough like chapatti dough.

6. Preheat the oven to 220 C.

7. Divide the mixture into 22-24 (appr.) equal parts and shape them into round balls.

8. Place the vegetable balls on a baking tray.

9. Brush the vegetable balls lightly with the cooking oil.

10. Bake the vegetable balls in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 mins until they are golden and crispy on outer layer.

Serve vegetable balls recipe hot with your choice of dip.
