Vegetable Balls In Hot Garlic Sauce is basically deep fried vegetable balls served in hot garlic sauce.

Cooking Time: Appr. 10 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Vegetable Balls In Hot Garlic Sauce


½ small cabbage
2 carrots
½ cup cauliflower
2 table corn flour
¼ cup plain flour
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup hot garlic sauce
½ cup chopped spring onion greens
Salt and freshly crushed black pepper to taste

Cooking Method:

1. Grate the carrots, cabbage and cauliflower.

2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the grated carrots, cauliflower and cabbage and cook till the vegetables are tender.

3. Add the salt and pepper according to your taste bud.

4. Sprinkle the corn flour and mix well then sprinkle the plain flour and mix well. Mix well. Make sure you sprinkle the flour to avoid the lumps.

5. Take it out of the heat and allow the mixture to cool.

6. Make 12-15 round balls from the mixture by rolling in your palm and keep aside.

7. Deep fry the vegetable balls in hot oil till they are golden brown and drain on kitchen paper.

8. Warm the hot garlic sauce up by place the garlic sauce in a pan and allow it to come to a boil.

9. Before serving, Place the vegetable balls in a serving bowl. Pour the garlic sauce over the vegetable balls and garnish the veg balls in hot garlic sauce with the chopped spring onion greens.

Serve vegetable balls in garlic sauce immediately as a starter or side dish.
