Turkey Mince Gnocchi Bake is baked gnocchi with spinach, turkey mince, courgettes, etc… in cheddar cheese sauce.

Cooking Time: Appr. 25 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Turkey Mince Gnocchi Bake

Ingredients:

500g Italian gnocchi
350g turkey mince
150g frozen or fresh chopped spinach
2 courgettes
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon dried red chilli flakes
2 cups cheddar cheese sauce
½ cup breadcrumbs
½ cup grated mature cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Freshly crushed black pepper
Water as needed

Turkey Mince Gnocchi Bake

Cooking Method:

1. Chop the garlics. Crush the fennel seeds. Grate the courgettes.

2. Preheat the oven at 200 degree C.

3. Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the chopped garlic in the pan. Stir it for 30 secs.

4. Add the turkey mince. Stir and cook for 5 mins until brown.

5. Add the grated courgettes. Stir and cook for further 5 mins.

6. Meanwhile, bring the water to boil in a pan. Add the gnocchi and coo for 2-3 mins. Drain it and keep water from gnocchi aside.

7. Add crushed fennel seeds, dried red chilli flakes and chopped spinach. Cook for further 2 mins.

8. Add the freshly crushed black pepper. Stir well.

9. Add the cheddar sauce into the turkey mixture, add the gnocchi and some water of gnocchi. Keep stirring when you add these ingredients.

10. Pour the turkey mince gnocchi mixture into an oven proof dish. Top with breadcrumbs and grated cheddar cheese.

11. Bake the turkey mince gnocchi bake for 20-25 mins until golden.

Serve the turkey mince gnocchi bake with any side dish.
