Turkey Meat Balls Curry Recipe is unique kofta curry recipe. This meat ball curry is very easy to make and tastes great too.

Turkey Meat Balls Curry Recipe

Ingredients:

2 medium size potatoes
1 large onion
3 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon chilli powder
2 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
2 teaspoon chopped coriander
2 small cinnamon sticks
2 bay leaves
1 star anise
Salt to taste
Water as needed

For The Meatballs:

400g mince turkey
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
2 chopped green chillies
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste

How to make meat balls:

1. Wash mince turkey and squeeze all water out. Add all ingredients stated above for meatball and kead it until all ingredients mix properly with mince turkey.

2. Now take the portion of walnut size in your fingers and make small balls from mince mix. Leave aside for at least half an hour.

3. Heat the oil in a frying pan and place turkey meat ball gently, cook for 2 mins on one side and then flip over and cook another 2 mins. Keep aside.

For Meat balls Curry:

4. Chop the onions and tomatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut in small cubes.

5. Heat the oil in a large pan. Add cinnamon sticks, bay leaves and star anise. Then add garlic and ginger aste.

6. Now add chopped onion and cook and stir till it get golden brown.

7. Add the potatoes and cook for 10 mins. stir in between.

8. Take the chopped tomatoes in a bowl. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, 1 tablespoon of chopped coriander leaves and salt and add some water and mix with spoon.

9. Add this tomatoes-spices mix into the pan and cook it for 5-8 mins. It will need stirring every minute.

10. Now add some water or as much as you want in gravy and cook another 10 mins. Stir in between.

11. Add the meat balls in the pan and mix gently with thespices. Cook it for further 10 mins. Stir gently.

12. Finally turn the heat off, add garam masala and stir the turkey meat balls curry well and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve turkey meat balls curry with Naan bread, chapatti or rice with salad on side.
