½ cup peanuts (mungfali)
¼ teaspoon asafoetida powder (hing)
½ teaspoon red chilli powder (lal mirch powder)
1 teaspoon oil (tel)
Salt to taste (namak)

How To Make Spicy Roasted Peanuts Recipe:

1. Dry roast the peanuts on low heat until the peanut skin looks slightly burn. Keep aside to cool off.

2. Rub the peanuts between palms, so the peanut skin gets removed. Split the peanuts from the split or you can keep as whole peanuts.

3. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the asafoetida. When the asafoetida sizzles, add the roasted peanuts. Fry the peanuts until peanuts are lightly brown. Then turn the heat off.

4. Add the red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and let the spiced roasted peanuts cool off.

Serve the spicy roasted peanuts as a snack or starter.

Storing Tip:

Store in air tight container on dry and cool place once the spiced roasted peanuts cool off. It will edible for 2-3 days.
