Spicy Potato Wedges is perfect potato side recipe for any dinner. If you are making potato wedges for kids, add less spices and it will still taste brilliant.

Cooking Time: Appr. 30-40 Minutes
Serves: 6-7 People

Spicy Potato Wedges


1.5kg baking potatoes
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoon corn flour
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 spring of fresh rosemary
Salt to taste to boil the wedges
Water as needed

Spicy Potato Wedges

Cooking Method:

1. Preheat oven at 220 degrees C.

2. Cut potatoes in wedges. Boil the wedges in salted water for 5 mins.

3. Crush the garlic. Remove the leaves from the fresh rosemary spring and chop them finely.

4. Combine the olive oil, chili powder, curry powder, corn flour, crushed garlic, sugar, salt, finely chopped rosemary and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl.

5. In an oven proof dish or tray, add the potato wedges and pour the spice mixture. Mix well and coat the potato wedges well with spice mixture.

6. Bake the Spicy Potato Wedges for 30-40 mins or until spicy potato wedges are tender crusty and golden brown.

Serve the Spicy Potato Wedges Recipe as a side dish with any dinner.
