Saffron Milk (Kesar Milk) is made with saffron. Saffron Flavoured Milk is delicious beverage before the bedtime.

Saffron Milk (Kesar Milk) Preparation Time: Appr. 15 Minutes
Serves: 2 People (2 Glasses)

Ingredients:

2½ glasses milk
2 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon saffron threads

Preparation Method:

1. Boil the milk in a pan. Boil for 10mins and keep stirring. Boil on slow heat as on high heat milk will rise and start over flowing from the pan. Milk will be a bit thicker after 10-15 boiling it.

2. Take 2 tablespoon milk from the boiling milk in a bowl. Add saffron in the bowl and dissolve the saffron.

3. Add dissolve saffron and sugar to boiling milk.

4. Boil the saffron milk for another 5 mins.

5. Finally turn off the heat.

Serve immediately as a hot saffron milk drink.

Or serve chilled saffron milk with crushed ices as a cool beverage.
