Prawn In Hot Garlic Sauce is basically deep fried  or shallow fried battered prawn served in hot garlic sauce.

Cooking Time: Appr. 15 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Prawn In Hot Garlic Sauce


20 prawns
1 egg
2 table corn flour
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup hot garlic sauce
½ cup chopped spring onion greens
Salt and freshly crushed black pepper to taste

Prawn In Hot Garlic Sauce

Cooking Method:

1. Beat the egg with salt and freshly crushed black pepper.

2. Wash the prawns and coat each prawn in the flour mixture (shake off the excess flour).

3. Heat the oil in a pan. Dip the each prawn in egg mixture. Shallow fry prawns until they are cooked and bit crispy.

4. Warm the hot garlic sauce up by place the garlic sauce in a pan and allow it to come to a boil. If you want thick sauce add a tablespoon corn flour dissolved in a little cold water. Cook until the sauce gets thick.

5. Add the fried prawn and cook for a minute on high heat. Make sure all prawns are coated with hot garlic sauce.

6. Finally turn the heat off and garnish the prawn in hot garlic sauce with the chopped spring onion greens.

Serve prawn in hot garlic sauce immediately as a starter or side dish.
