Palak Pakora (Spinach Pakora) is one of most delicious and easy to make starter or snack.

Cooking Time: Appr. 10 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Palak Pakora (Spinach Pakora)Ingredients:

1 bunch Spinach
2 large onions
2 garlic cloves
½ inch ginger
½ cup Gram Flour (besan)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 green chili (optional)
½ teaspoon Sugar
2 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Cooking Method:

1. Wash the spinach properly and chop it. Peel the onions and chop it.

2. Peel the ginger and chop it. Chop the garlic and green chilli.

3. Mix chopped spinach, chopped onion, chopped garlic, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice and sugar in large bowl. Add gram flour and mix it properly. If you need to add 1 or two tablespoon of water, add it but avoid adding excess water as this batter should be thick and sticky.

4. Heat the oil in a deep pan. Make small fritters with spoon or hand and deep fry in the hot oil until Spinach Pakora turn to golden brown on medium heat.

5. Drain out all the excess oil and keep it in a kitchen paper in order to soak the excess oil.

Serve palak pakoda hot with Green chutney.
