Have you ever wondered the history of coffee? It has a historical transmission and renowned as “miracle drug. Coffee is a popular drink served as a beverage around the world. In addition to drinking, it also can be used to flavour different recipes. Here are one of the delicious coffee recipes – Mexican Coffee Balls which you could try at home.

Mexican Coffee Balls

Mexican Coffee BallsIngredients:

Chocolate wafers
Half cup of ground blanched almonds
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
White sugar according to taste
2 tablespoons of instant coffee
1/3 cup coffee liqueur
Half cup of light corn syrup

Method to make Mexican Coffee Balls:

1. Break the chocolate wafers in to crumbs and mix skinless blanched almonds, unsweetened cocoa powder, and sugar.

2. Liquefy instant coffee in coffee liqueur and add into crumb mixture with light corn syrup.

3. Create the small balls from the mixture using your palms and rolling in between palms or giving ball shape between hand and roll in sugar and store in a refrigerator to cool and set.

Serve Mexican coffee balls chilled.
