Recently I have been indulging in making homemade bread instead of buying bread from the stores. Have you read the ingredients on your loaf of store bought bread? Mostly you will find ingredients such as Whole Wheat Flour, Water, Brown Sugar, Yeast, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Vegetable Oil, Dough Conditioners and Soy Lecithin printed on it. Making homemade bread using soya lecithin is so easy, especially if you have a stand mixer with a dough hook.

Basic homemade bread recipe for you from Soya lecithin:

• 1 cup of water (100 to 110 degrees F)
• 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
• 3 cups of flour
• 2 teaspoons of honey, sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup or molasses
• ½ teaspoon of salt
• 1 package of active dry yeast
• Soya lecithin-Roti Plus 0.5 – 1% on Wheat flour basis

Mix all ingredients including yeast, water and honey in the mixer bowl. Give the yeast a few minutes to bud, now add oil, salt, and flour and just roll up your sleeves and kneel the dough on a floured table top. As the dough is like elastic place in a bowl and covering with a dish towel let it rest to rise.

After an hour, put it back on the mixer for about 5 minutes or kneel on the floured table top. After resting it again for 45 minutes bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Alternatively you can brush it will egg whites/oil/butter if you want crusty golden bread.
