Lamb Burger Recipe is minced lamb patty with onion, chilli, garlic and fresh herbs served in burger with salad and sauce.

Cooking Time: Appr. 10-15 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Lamb Burger Recipe


400 gram Lamb Mince (Kheema)
1 medium onion
2 green chillies
3-4 garlic cloves
½ inch ginger
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 springs of fresh rosemary
3-4 springs of fresh thyme
Oil for pan frying
Salt to taste

Lamb Burger Recipe

Cooking Method:

1. Chop the onion and green chillies.

2. Peel the ginger and grate or crush it. Grate or crush the garlic.

3. Remove the rosemary and thyme leaves from the springs and chop them finely.

4. Wash the lamb mince and gently squeeze the water out.

5. Mix all the ingredients to the lamb mince and mix well (knead it). Keep aside for an hour.

6. Divide the lamb mince mixture in 4 portions. Now take the one portion in hand squeeze between hands and roll in hands. Press it gently to make lamb mince patty shape.

7. Heat the oil in a pan fry the lamb mince patties both side well 5 mins each side or 2-3 mins twice both sides. Or grill for 15-20 mins at 220 degree C.

Serve lamb burger recipe hot placing some salad and sauce or mayo on top.

Variation Tips:

You can add chopped basil, oregano or any fresh herbs to make lamb burger recipe.

You can add one beaten egg to lamb burger patties.

    Maybe a nice tip for extra variation is to bake the pattys on a plate to make it crusty and you could add some butter to the pattys before or after you toasted them.
