Raita is a salad dish which is normally eaten with biryani as a side dish. Indian Raita Recipe has got cooling flavour and it makes spicy biryani mild when raita accomplices with the biryani recipes. Here is vegetable raita for biryani recipe.

Preparation Method: Appr. 10 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Indian Raita Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cucumber
1 Medium red onion
2 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 Cup of plain yogurt
A pinch of salt

Preparation Method:

1. Chop the onion, cucumber and tomatoes.

2. Take everything in a large bowl. So, you can mix it properly.

3. Now add the lemon juice and salt and mix it.

4. Whisk the yogurt.

5. Finally add the yogurt and chopped coriander in this mix.

6. Mix the Indian raita recipe properly.

Serve vegetable raita as it is or chilled with any dish as a salad dish but best with the biryani recipe and kababs.

Variation Tips:

There are many variations of raita like the tomato raita, cucumber raita, onion raita, beetroot raita, mint and coriander raita, carrot raita, boondi raita, palak raita (spinach raita), pineapple raita, pomegranate raita and many more.
