Honey Herb Whole Grain Baguette is a homemade bread recipe made from whole grain wheat flour with the flavour of honey and herbs.

Cooking Time: Appr. 30 Minutes
Serves: 2 People

Honey Herb Whole Grain BaguetteIngredients:

2 cup whole grain wheat flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoon dry active yeast
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon dried mix herbs
1 teaspoon olive oil
Herbs for dusting on the top the baguette
Some melted butter for spreading on the baguette

Cooking Method:

1. Add the yeast in the warm water in a large bowl and stir it to dissolve. Leave a side for 10 mins.

2. Now add salt, honey, herbs and baking powder. Mix well.

3. Then add flour slowly while mixing with hand or a beater.

4. Knead it properly to make sticky dough. Spread olive oil in your palm and knead it for at least 5 mins. Leave aside for 2 hour to raise the dough by covering with cling film. Every half an hour give 2 mins kneading. It will be double in size during that time.

5. Preheat the oven at 180 Degree Celsius.

6. Make 2 long shape of baguette in a baking tray and leave aside for 10 mins. It will rise again in 10 mins.

7. Brush butter on each baguette. It will give glossy touch and extra brown colour to baguettes. Then dust the dried herb on the baguette.

8. Now bake all baguettes in a preheated oven for 20-30 min until golden brown. Keep inside the oven for 15 mins after turning off the oven.

Serve this whole grain baguette with anything you like.
