Courgette Dessert is cooked as a pudding with milk and dried fruits.

Cooking Time: Appr. 35 Minutes
Serves: 3-4 People

Courgette Dessert


3-4 courgettes
¾ cup sugar
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
3 tablespoon Ghee (clarified butter)
5-6 cashew nuts
6-7 almonds

Courgette Dessert

Cooking Method:

1. Wash the courgettes and grate it. Peel courgette skin if you wish otherwise just leave the skin.

2. Chop the almonds. Split the cashew nuts in 2 pieces.

3. Heat the ghee (clarified butter) in a pan and add the grated courgette to it.

4. Keep cooking and stirring on a medium low flame until the grated courgette starts to change colour slightly.

5. Now add Milk and Sugar. Let the courgette dessert cook and keep stirring until all the milk is absorbed and the courgette dessert starts to leave ghee from the sides again.

6. Add Cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and cinnamon powder. Mix well.

7. Now add the split almonds. Stir the courgette pudding for 2-3 mins.

8. Finally turn of the heat and garnish the Courgette Dessert with the chopped almonds.

Serve Courgette Dessert hot or chilled as a pudding (dessert).
