Chinese Chicken Curry Recipe is chicken cooked in curry sauce and soy sauce. This chinese chicken curry recipe is cooked as Chinese takeaway style.

Cooking Time: Appr. 30 Minutes
Serves: 2-3 People

Chinese Chicken Curry Recipe


2 large chicken breasts
1 large white or yellow onion
1 large carrot
¼ cup green peas
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1½ tablespoon curry powder
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon corn flour
1 knorr chicken stock tub
3 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
Water as needed

Chinese Chicken Curry Recipe

Cooking Method:

1. Cut the onions and big chunk quarters. Cut the chicken in thin strips. Peel the carrots and chop it.

2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok on high heat. Add the onions, green peas and carrots. Stir for 2-3 mins. Replace the vegetables in different container.

3. Heat the remaining oil in a same wok. Add the chicken pieces and crushed garlic. Stir fry for a minute.

4. Add the curry powder and stir fry for further 2 mins.

5. Add the salt, soy sauce, chicken stock and water. Simmer for 5 mins

6. Add the onions, peas and carrots. Cover and simmer the chinese chicken curry recipe for further 10 mins.

7. Dissolve the corn flour in cold water and pour to the chicken. Add more some to chinese chicken curry recipe.

8. Bring it to boil and simmer it for 5 mins.

Serve chinese chicken curry recipe with plain or egg fried rice.
