Cooking Time: Appr. 15-20 Minutes
Serves: 2 people

Chicken Tikka


300 gram chicken breast
½ cup thick yogurt
3-4 garlic cloves
½ inch ginger
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
1 teaspoon chilli powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ onion (small)
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste

Chicken Tikka Recipe

Cooking Method:

1. Cut the chicken breast in rectangle pieces.

2. Peel the ginger and cut in small pieces. Cut garlic in small pieces.

3. Chop the half onion.

4. Now use grinder to grind all spices to marinate chicken. Take yogurt, garlic, ginger, onion, garma masala, chaat masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder, oil, cumin seeds, coriander powder and salt in to the grider or mixer and grind it to make a chicken tikka marinade paste.

5. Take the chicken in a bowl and add chicken tikka marinade paste and mix with the chicken. Leave a side for at least 2 hours to marinate.

6. Preheat the oven at 220 Degree Celsius.

8. Grill the chicken tikka for 15-20 mins.

Serve chicken tikka kebabs hot with salad on side and any green chutney.
