Chana Chaat or Chick Pea Salad is very quick to make and it’s an indian starter recipe. Chana Chaat is very healthy starter for healthy diet.

Making Time: Appr. 10 Minutes
Serves: 2 People

Chana ChaatIngredients:

200 gram boiled chick peas or tinned chick peas
1 Medium red onion
2 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 green chilli
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste

Cooking Method:

1. Chop the onion and tomatoes.

2. Chop the green chilli in very fine pieces.

3. Take boiled chick peas in one big bowl.

4. Now add onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander, lemon juice and salt.

5. Mix it properly.

Serve as it is.

Cooking Time: App. 10 Minutes
Serves: 2 People

Please Note:

If you are using dried chick peas, here are the instructions for how to boil chick peas.

Wash and soak chick peas for at least 8 hours (or overnight) in the water. You will need triple size of water than the quantity of peas.

Now add double size of water with peas and boiled chick peas until it is soft and cooked.
