Baked Paneer Peas Aloo Cutlets are baked cutlets made from cottage cheese (paneer), boiled potatoes, peas and spices.

Cooking Method: Appr. 20-30 Minutes
Serves: 6-7 People

Baked Paneer Peas Aloo Cutlets


6 large potatoes
200g paneer (cottage cheese)
½ cup green peas
½ cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves
1 inch ginger
½ teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
½ teaspoon chat masala powder
3-4 green chillies
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt to taste

Baked Paneer Peas Aloo Cutlets

Cooking Method:

1. Boil the potatoes, Peel and mash it.

2. Boil the green peas and mash them coarsely.

3. Chop the green chillies finely. Peel the ginger. Grate or crush the garlic and ginger.

4. Mix well all the ingredients with potato mash.

5. Make 12-15 equal size of portion. Take each in hand, roll and press gently.

6. Lay the aluminium foil onto baking tray and lightly brush it with oil.

7. Arrange all the cutlets on to the sheet.

8. Spray them with flora light spray on each paneer peas aloo cutlets.

9. Bake paneer peas aloo cutlets at 220 degree C 20-30 mins or until baked paneer peas aloo cutlets are golden brown.

Serve baked paneer peas aloo cutlets with your choice of sauce, dip or chutney.

Variation Tips:

If you want to shallow fry the paneer peas aloo cutlets instead of baking , shallow fry with a teaspoon oil on both sides in a non-stick frying pan until golden brown.

If you don’t have flora light spray, spread a half teaspoon of oil over each cutlet and bake them to make baked paneer peas aloo cutlets.

You can eat the baked paneer peas aloo cutlet using as a vegetable patty for burger or between the breads as a sandwich with some salad and sauce.
