Aloo Masala recipe is easy potato curry recipe. This is also called dum aloo masala.

Cooking Time: Appr. 25 Minutes
Serves: 2 People

Aloo MasalaIngredients:

10 baby Potatoes
4 large onions
3 large tomatoes
1 tablespoon garlic-ginger paste
1 teaspoon mustard seed
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 ½ teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoons garam masala
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
Salt to taste
Water as needed

Cooking Method:

1. Boil the baby potatoes and remove the skin.

2. Chop the onions and tomatoes.

3. Heat the oil in the pan and add mustard seeds. When it crackles, add garlic-ginger paste.

4. Stir it for 2 mins then add chopped onions. Cook until onion is cooked and stir in between (onion will turn to transparent colour when it’s cooked).

5. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for another 5 mins. Keep stirring in between.

6. Now add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Stir and cook for 5 mins.

7. Add all baby potatoes and water, if you wish. Cook with all spice for 5-8 mins.

8. Finally turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander.

Serve this potato masala with chapatti, naan bread or any rice.
